Club creation policy

Overview

Baegugu uses the following policy to keep club listings trustworthy. Breaking it can lead to account limits or deletion. Read this before you register a club.

Core rules

Register only a club you belong to

You may not register a club you are not actually part of. Registering someone else's club or falsifying its information can lead to account limits.

If you break this: account limits, club deleted

No duplicate registrations

You may not register the same club from multiple accounts, or register a club that already exists. A new request will be refused, and the duplicate may be removed.

If you break this: registration refused, existing listing may be removed

Keep information accurate

The club's name, affiliation, photos, and other details must match reality. False information or changes meant to mislead can lead to sanctions.

If you break this: warning, account limits, deletion

Requests from the actual club

Someone else may ask to take ownership or admin rights of a club you registered. After review, Baegugu may delete the current listing and approve a new one.

Note: a valid request can result in the current listing being removed.

Use an appropriate club nameNEW · 2026.06.16

Names may not include swearing, obscenity, hate or discrimination toward a person, group, region, ethnicity, or religion, insults, or names that impersonate a public body or well-known organization.

If you break this: we ask you to change the name (if unchanged within 7 days, we may change it or suspend the club)

FAQ

Can I register a club I didn't found?

Yes, if you currently belong to it. You don't have to be the founder. Officers or regular members who can represent the club may register it. False registration can still lead to sanctions.

I want to re-register an existing club under my account.

You can't register it again yourself. If the current registrant is absent or not managing the club, ask Baegugu to transfer ownership. After review we can clean up the old listing and approve a new one.

What happens if I break the policy?

It depends on how serious it is. A minor case may get a warning or a request to fix it. A serious case can mean account limits, club deletion, or an account ban. Repeat violations can bring stronger action.

Can I appeal a sanction?

Yes. Contact Baegugu and explain what happened, with evidence. We review it and then follow the process.
